About me
Hi! I am Danielle Johnson and I am a writer to my core. Whether it be journalism, creative writing, screenwriting, or just scribbling down my inner monologue in my journal, I love to tell stories. I aim to showcase the world around me through my writing and shed light on the little moments we take for granted each day. I strive to achieve the same goals with my photography. You can find me at any given moment with a minimum of two cameras in my purse, hoping to capture the every day world through my eyes.
I grew up just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota and I have been reading magazine stories since I was a little girl, drawn to their special ability to tell stories. This led me to specialize in magazine writing and I am 2025 graduate of Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a B.S. in magazine, news, and digital journalism. I also graduated with minors in art photography and fashion design.

While at Syracuse, I was part of many different clubs where I got to stretch my creative muscles and explore all the different facets of the creative world including, but not limited to, social media, PR, writing, video editing, graphic design, photography, and podcasting.

Outside of my writing and photography, I love to listen to music (I hope to one day work as a music journalist), walk outside on sunny days, surf, read, mess around with my DJ board, and do puzzles.
